For most of my life, I imagined a very different future. After studying classical piano and spending more than a decade teaching music, life seemed set on a familiar path. But deep down, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was another story waiting to be written.

That story began with a van, a piano and a dream.

Together with my wife, I spent months transforming a simple van into our home on wheels before setting off to explore Australia. Over thousands of kilometres, from remote outback pubs to coastal towns and bustling cities, I discovered that every place has its own rhythm, every person has a story to tell, and music has a remarkable way of bringing strangers together.

Night after night, I've watched entire rooms of people sing together around a piano. I've met incredible characters, witnessed unforgettable moments, and found inspiration in the landscapes, communities and conversations that make Australia unlike anywhere else in the world.

Those experiences became the foundation for my music.

My songs blend piano-driven pop and rock with heartfelt storytelling, capturing the humour, beauty and spirit of life on the road. Whether I'm performing in an intimate pub, entertaining a packed duelling piano bar, creating videos from unique Australian locations, or sharing original music inspired by my travels, my goal is always the same: to create moments that bring people together.

My latest album, The Great Australian Heart, is a collection of stories born from that journey. Every song reflects a place, a memory or a person who helped shape the adventure, celebrating the people and places that make this country so extraordinary.

The journey is far from over. With my custom-built travelling upright piano, I continue to explore Australia one performance, one story and one song at a time, hoping to inspire others to embrace adventure, celebrate community and discover the extraordinary moments that often hide in the most unexpected places.
